Beef Pepper Rice

prep time: 5 mins, cook time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz thinly sliced ribeye 
  • cooked rice 
  • 1.5 cups of corn
  • 1/2 yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 green onion stalk, thinly sliced 
  • garlic
  • ginger 
  • soy sauce
  • sesame oil
  • oyster sauce
  • honey
  • black pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp of butter 
  • mozzarella cheese (optional)

Black Pepper Honey Soy Sauce Pre-mix: 

  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oyster Sauce
  • 2.5 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 3 grated garlic cloves 
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper 
  • 1/4 tsp of grated ginger

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Prepare your sliced yellow onions, green onions and 1 cup of corn.
  2. Pre-mix the black pepper honey soy sauce and set aside.
  3. On medium heat, add 1 tbsp of oil to a cast iron skillet or frying pan. Add in the thinly sliced yellow onions. Sauté until fragrant, and then gather the onions to the middle. 
  4. Place one bowl of cooked rice on top of the sautéed onions. 
  5. Place thinly sliced beef around the rice. 
  6. Add in the corn, green onions and 1-2 tbsp of butter. 
  7. Pour pre-mix sauce over everything. 
  8. Mix everything together. Top with mozzarella cheese (optional), and enjoy!
